Today is a big day in Rwanda – presidential elections! Well, in some ways it’s not a particularly exciting day because there are no doubts at all about who the winner will be, but it’s been interesting to be here at the time of the campaign. New (crazy) prices of gorilla trekking permits

Yesterday the Rwanda Development Board announced new tariffs for gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes National Park. They doubled the price and don’t offer discounts to residents anymore.
